HISTORY OF ALLIANCE FELLOWSHIP
Alliance Fellowship met for the first time on Mothers Day, 1998. Alliance Fellowship was formed as a church plant, with much of the impetus coming from Belgrade Alliance Church. Early on, a mission statement was crafted that reads, To build and expand the Kingdom of God through loving relationships founded upon Jesus Christ. Since its inception, Alliance Fellowship has had a relational emphasis in ministry and corporate worship whether the gathering for worship was at Comfort Inn or Sacajawea Middle School.
Even before Alliance Fellowship hit its second birthday, the opportunity to purchase a building arose. And not just any building a church building that was located in the NE neighborhood of Bozeman. While seeking to reach out to the neighborhood, many college students (who werent targeted) started to come because they were drawn to the relational style of corporate worship and ministry.
Alliance Fellowship continued to grow as the Lord added people. We have increased our staff with the addition of a Worship Pastor and a College Pastor. We have an active childcare program, middle school and high school outreach, as well as several adult small groups and college ministries.
As God continues to grow our body, we seek to serve Him and minister to one another in love. | |
